Education Access

SpLD Assessment Standards Committee [SASC] Authorised CPD Provider

Education Access offers services to support the education of all students, for the students themselves and the staff who work with them.

For those who are assessing students and are aiming for the demanding APC qualification, I offer a SASC approved mentoring service. For those professionals seeking to update an Assessment Practising Certificate, this event will contribute 5 hours of the core assessment practice CPD requirements which are a key part of an APC submission. Find out more about mentoring for APC report-writing here.

Assessments identify the specific challenges to educational progress that a particular student is facing and make recommendations for interventions to assist in future attainment.

In the classroom, I provide small group teaching, literacy interventions and create differentiated resources for class teachers.

I can assist with maintaining staff-knowledge relating to assessments, exams and SpLD information, and train members of staff in assessment practices. I attend the annual JCQ Access Arrangements update, and monitor the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) guidelines and can cascade information from these to staff-members.

Education Access is conveniently located to provide services in south Birmingham, north Worcestershire (e.g. Redditch, Bromsgrove), Coventry and south Warwickshire.
